gwilbot

Hope is not a strategy

gwilbot is a fully systematic, capital-preserving trading system engineered in Python with a single mandate: disciplined execution without discretion.

Risk is capped, losers are cut, and size is added only when price proves the trade right.

Breakeven enforcement and trailing stops are applied mechanically using realized price movement and initial risk as the only inputs, while deterministic edge specifications and exact trade reconstruction guarantee backtest-to-live fidelity.

The system deliberately excludes opaque or overfitted machine learning in favour of transparent, auditable logic validated through deterministic, rules-based backtesting and exact trade reconstruction. Deployed on Ubuntu, it is engineered to prioritise capital preservation across all market conditions.

Built for traders and trading operations that treat survival as a system constraint and enforce it mechanically.

TL;DR: A trading system that executes the boring, disciplined rules most traders abandon under pressure — automatically.
